What data we process and why
When you contact us via the form or by e-mail, we process your name, e-mail address, company name and the content of your message. We use this data solely to handle your inquiry and, where relevant, to prepare an offer.
Legal basis
Steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to communication we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
If your inquiry leads to a contract, for example a licence for an e-learning course, we keep the data for the term of the contract or licence, typically 12 months. After it ends, we keep only what the law requires, for example in accounting records.
If no contract is concluded, we delete the data no later than 12 months after our last communication.
Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our web hosting and e-mail provider may process the data on our behalf.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. Fonts and all files are served directly from our own server.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Send requests to office@elkan.sk.
